Privacy Policy

Cuevera ("the app") is an offline-first live-performance tool for musicians — song lyrics, chords, backing Tracks, reference playback, and MIDI cueing during a live set. This policy explains what data the app handles and, just as importantly, what it does not.

No account, no cloud servers

Cuevera does not require you to create an account, and there are no Cuevera-operated servers. Your song library, lyrics, chords, backing tracks, setlists, and settings are stored entirely on your own device. Cuevera does not automatically upload this library. Data leaves the device only when you explicitly export, share, use Band Connect, send support email, or invoke an optional third-party feature.

Band Connect

The Band Connect feature lets devices on the same local Wi-Fi network stay in sync during a live set (current song, section, etc.) and lets you pull an updated song from a bandmate's device. This works directly between participating devices on your local network — no data is routed through a third-party or Cuevera server. Use Band Connect only on a network and with devices you trust.

Speech and transcription

On Windows and Android, Cuevera's optional lyric-alignment transcription uses a model stored and run on your device; the selected audio is not sent to Cuevera or an external transcription service. Android voice commands use the speech service supplied by the installed build and operating system. On iOS, voice commands use Apple's Speech framework. Cuevera requests on-device recognition when the device supports it; otherwise Apple may process speech under Apple's own privacy terms. Cuevera does not receive or retain that audio on any server.

Personal monitor control

If you configure Personal Monitor Mode, Cuevera stores mixer connection settings and sends control messages directly to the selected supported Behringer X AIR/X32 or MIDAS M AIR/M32-family console on your local network. A salted verifier for the owner PIN is kept in secure device storage. Cuevera does not send monitor settings or PINs to a Cuevera cloud service.

Optional third-party imports

Cuevera includes optional tools to import songs, tabs, or backing tracks from third-party services (for example, Karaoke-Version.com and Ultimate Guitar for songs and tabs, and a third-party music-catalog service — currently Deezer — for genre and tempo lookups). If you choose to use these features, your device communicates directly with those third parties, using your own account/session where applicable. That usage is governed by each third party's own privacy policy and terms — Cuevera does not receive, store, or process that data on any server of its own.

Local backups and data export

Cuevera lets you back up or export your own song library and settings to files you control (for example, to move your library to a new device). These exports are created and stored by you; Cuevera does not upload them anywhere automatically.

Licensing and support email

A purchased license key can contain the license holder's email address, edition, expiration date, and permitted device identifiers. The app stores and verifies that information locally. If you choose Email Support, Cuevera opens your device's mail app with a draft containing the contact email, requested edition, and this installation's device identifier. You can review or edit the message before sending it. The message is sent only when you choose to send it and is then handled by your email provider and Cuevera support.

Analytics and advertising

Cuevera does not include advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Children's privacy

Cuevera is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
