Best for: a full mix or synchronized stems. Advanced MIDI, lighting, mix, and PDF cues are added in Guide 4.
Before you begin
- Have clean lyrics with labeled sections.
- Use one audio file or a stem ZIP. All stems must come from the same song version and start at the same point.
- Keep source files on local storage while preparing.
Prepare the song
- Open the song, select Prepare Song, and choose Lyrics + backing track + cues.
- On Playback, choose Backing track.
- Choose the audio file or stem ZIP. Confirm All files available.
- Use Preview Mix and check the start, ending, lead vocal, and stem alignment.
- If needed, select the clearest lead-vocal stem under Lyric timing vocal.
- On Lyrics Reference, verify the lyrics and section headings.
- On Analyze, use Analyze & Rebuild Song only when you intend to replace the working analysis. Wait for completion.
- Review tempo, lyric placement, and every item marked Needs a check.
- On Lyrics, correct words, line breaks, and section names.
- Optionally set Colors, then review Finish and select Save Song.
Test it
- Play Tracks from the beginning and confirm the first lyric arrives correctly.
- Check a middle and final section for synchronization.
- Open Track Mix and test mute, solo, levels, and routing for every stem.
- Disconnect the internet and repeat a short playback test.
You are done when
- Every stem starts together and stays synchronized.
- Lyric lines and sections follow the recording.
- The saved mix is available offline.
